In 2017 a friend was recognized for his on-going service to a historical recreation society by being named a “Baron of the Court”. The design is heavily influenced by the Knot work art of the Viking Age, and the story of Gullinbursti. The giant boar of myth given as a gift from the dwarfs to the goddess Freyr.
Fabricated from nickel, copper, and lapis. Hand pierced, engraved, and assembled with over 200 individual rivets.

It is not just achiement, but the striving for acheivement that we celebrate. Not the moment of recognition, but the effort and dedication of years that need to be commemorated.
